Breaks

Hi Everyone,

I’m looking to gain more information in regards to what other organizations are doing for employee breaks. My question is, how long are breaks at your organization and are they paid or not? Any information is appreciated!

We give 1/2 hour unpaid lunch and 2 x 10 min paid breaks after 8 hours. We do not allow employees to combine breaks for an extended lunch or break them up for more “smoke” breaks.

Lunches can be off site but they need to inform supervisor for H&S/Evacuation Accounting purposes.
